Ferret racing uses a ferrets natural ability to move swiftly through pipes set out in a race.

Ferret racing is a BIG hit, with people who visit the shows, we attend.

Sometimes we just put down one ferret in each box, sometime two, and to entertain us all, we sometimes put three ferrets in the boxes.

The owner places their ferret(s) in the starting box, and the gate is opened, to start the race. The ferrets are encouraged by the cheering crowds. The ferrets have their own minds, and sometimes display their protests by turning inside the pipe, and running back to the starting box. The ferrets owner races to the end of the pipes to catch their ferret(s). Some ferrets, however, tease their owners, and the crowds, by backing up the tube, or laying on their backs with their heads poking out. The ferrets owner can not touch their ferret(s) until their ferret(s) tail is completely clear of the pipe.

The first ferret(s) out the pipes are the winners.

Someone once asked if we train our ferrets.   The answer is no, they do what comes naturally.   They love to play and explore especially tunnels and holes.
